Writing For Remote Learning.
In writing this week we are going to write a recount of the recent residential trip. If you didn't go to the residential trip it can be a recount of a special holiday you went on or your Easter holiday.
A recount is a chronological( in time order) account of a past event. Today we are going to be thinking about the events of our trip and write a draft of the time line of events which could start from when you woke up on the morning of the trip or when you left school on the coach.
Just write down the events and the order of the events and how you felt in note form. Then tomorrow we will share our ideas so far and then focus on writing an introductory paragraph. Remember that it needs to be written in first person and past tense as it has already happened. I am available on the TEAMs link all morning if you have any questions.
Please click on the above icons to access relevant information, lessons (for different subject areas across the duration of the week) will also be sent daily via the Class Blog. Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions, if you’d like to share your child's learning or simply wish to say hello - our class email address is Year5@orchardprimary.org.uk.
