Chinese New Year

On Friday 12th February it is Chinese New Year! in 2020 it was the year of the rat but it is now changing to the year of the Ox. There is a list of activities I would like you to complete based around this very famous celebration!
  • The Chinese Zodiac Story Read the story of the Chinese New Year here and learn about all the different animals! Then why not create a storyboard to retell the story in your own words.
  • Make an Ox puppet As it is the year of the Ox why not get arty and crafty and make an Ox finger puppet!
  • Zodiac animals Read about all of the different animals and their characteristics. Can you work out which year you were born in and what animal it was that year?
