Creative Arts links:
The Royal Opera House are launching a 12 week 'Create and Learn' programme full of weekly activities for chilldren learning at home. It explores the magical world of theatre, giving children a glimpse into the creative arts; dance, drama and music!
New activities will be added every week. Next up: Magical Adventures (24th April)

Charanga Music scheme:
Yumu is a safe online space where students can learn, play and develop their musical skills. Children can create their own avatar and explore the world of music by taking part in activities and games to collect badges.

This page is specifically designed for parents to help their children's learning from home.
You'll notice that some resources require a subscription to access, however, if you type 'free resource' into the search bar, you'll find plenty of activities that are available for free.

Home learning packs have now been sent out for children to work through up until the Easter break.
The packs focus on key Reading, Writing and Maths skills that also link in with our current topic.
Each sheet includes a brief explanation of the task but should you have any questions regarding anything in the pack or you'd like to share your child's learning, please don't hesitate to contact me; my email address is year1@orchardprimary.org.uk
At the bottom of this page there is a suggested timetable for completing these and fitting in other activities throughout the day. Please also see the subject icons above which give access to additional learning links.
