Favourite Foods!

• The Very Hungry Caterpillar loves to eat lots of different foods.
• What is your favourite food?
• Draw a picture of your favourite food and write a sentence to tell us about it.

• In the story The Very Hungry Caterpillar eats some different foods each day.
• Can you remember the seven days of the week?
• Draw a picture or write a sentence about something you do each day.

Spring 2022

Easter Journal

• Make your own Easter journal over the school holiday.
• Take photos or draw pictures and write about some of the things you do with your family and friends.

Design a Dinosaur!

• Create your own dinosaur.
• Draw a picture then write its name underneath.
• You could ask a grown-up to help you write some adjectives to describe your new dinosaur.
• Is it scary or friendly?
• Is it large, long or scaly?

Dinosaur Adjectives

• Think of a dinosaur and describe it to a friend or someone in your family.
• They have to guess which dinosaur you are!
• Remember to use adjectives to describe the dinosaur.
• For example, “I am big. I have a long neck and a long tail. I like to eat the leaves in the trees.”
• You could use an information book to help you find out what they look like.

Traditional Tales Storytelling

• Tell a grown-up the story of the Three Little Pigs.
• Remember to use different voices for the characters.
• You could even act it out together!

Three Little Pigs Rhyming Words

• Write down five words that rhyme with pig.
• You could write this as a list - pig, jig, fig, wig, dig.

• Tell a grown-up about your favourite safari story.
• Which character did you like best? Why?
