Reception Trip to All Things Wild

We arrived at All Things Wild on one of the hottest days of the year, but we were very excited to see lots of different animals!  When we arrived a lady took us around to look at the different animals and we discovered the difference between fur, feathers and scales.  We then had the opportunity to hold a snake, an armadillo and a lizard.  Afterwards we all had a chance to stroke some very lively rabbits!

 

We had lunch in a large marquee and walked around the dinosaur enclosure, digging up some dinosaur bones in a huge sandpit.  Although it was a very hot day, the children were very well behaved and enjoyed their day at All Things Wild.
