On Friday 24 March Year 3 had the opportunity to visit Worcester Cathedral as part of our Festivals, Families and Friendship topic. We started off the morning by having a tour of the Cathedral and we were shown different symbols of Christianity and we had to draw them; the tour guides told us lots of interesting facts! Then we were told the Easter story and had lots of little eggs with clues in and we had to work out how the clues related to the story. Finally there was a challenge - our tour guide had hidden letters around the Cathedral on different things we had explored during the morning. Working with our partner, we had to find all the letters which spelt out Holy Spirit. The winner got chocolate eggs! A fantastic and informative day!
