I am aware that there is a fair bit to read for some of the afternoon Powerpoints so have set these as your Reading activity when it fits to (hopefully!) help. Please read your current/ favourite book in addition and you can always choose some of the 'Reading Challenge' cards (see below) to complete if you wish.
We will be starting our new unit in Science today! Please read through the information on the PPT about Sound (to help with this afternoon's lesson). Use the provided link to take you to our Science page:
We will be continuing our Reign Over Us Topic this afternoon and learning all about King John as we explore our second Key Question. Please read through the information on the PPT using the provided link to take you to our Topic page:
I know you are keen readers in Year 4 and thought you may enjoy sharing your favourite place to read at home/ outside to inspire each other. Please comment or post a picture of you reading in your favourite spot- whether it's a den you've made, the sofa, outside in the sunshine, reading with a special buddy etc. You could even complete a survey at home (or virtually with family/ friends) to find out the most popular spot.
We'd love to hear any book recommendations you have too so please share away and happy reading!
Please read through the information on the PPT about Andy Goldsworthy (for today's Art lesson). As a challenge can you create a fact file for the artist? Use the provided link to take you to our Art and Design page:
For today's free reading, why not try reading in a new spot- maybe one that was recommended by one of your classmates on Wednesday? Please remember to send any recommendations to the Class Blog :)
