Week 6

Monday 8th February - today we are going to have a look at maths stories with fractions and four digit numbers again. There is a video to recap this in the video centre  https://cherryorchard.primarysite.media/media/recapping-mixed-numbers-maths-stories-080221 and then copy and complete the questions below :) Remember one number per square.
Tuesday 9th February - today I would like you to watch the video the at Oak National Academy about properties of 3D shapes https://classroom.thenational.academy/lessons/to-describe-the-properties-of-3d-shapes-cdjkgd?activity=video&step=2&view=1 Then have a go at answering the questions below.
Wednesday 10th February - today I would like you to have a look at the grid, bar chart and pie chart below and answer the questions carefully. There is a video version https://cherryorchard.primarysite.media/media/wednesday-100221-data-and-measure-maths of the questions in the video centre if this easier for you to access :) 

Thursday 11th February - today I would like you to practice drawing your grids for multiplication and your rounding skills to the nearest 10.

Have a go at writing the questions out below in your books - remember to do jottings in your margins to help you. 

Friday 12th February - today I would like you to continue practicing partitioning and multiplying again from last week. Answer the questions below and check how you are partitioning your 2-digit number carefully. e.g if it is 42 x 6 = you would need to write 40 x 6 + 2 x 6 =
