Our Year 6 Class had a fantastic time last week during their 2-day residential trip to Condover Hall in Shropshire. Mrs Poole and Miss Cooper were so proud of all the children for trying their very best with all the activities and supporting each other. Our Year 5 class enjoyed a visit to Pershore Abbey yesterday together with pupils from other local schools. A team of educators held interactive workshops with the children to discuss and debate the relationship between faith and science, providing the students with opportunities to explore complex themes like climate change and the beginning of the universe.
We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded the Bronze School Games Mark for our commitment and engagement in the School Games for 2024/25!
Year 5 enjoyed their first music lesson with SevernArts today. This year, the children will be learning to play the keyboard, and we look forward to seeing their progress over the coming weeks!
Delta Sports are again running Football 4 All sessions at Pershore High School on Tuesdays between 5pm and 6pm. Please refer to the attached poster for more information.
Yesterday we held our Leavers Service at Pershore Abbey to celebrate and mark the transition of our Year 6 class from primary to secondary education. It was a time for reflection, looking back on memories, and celebrating achievements while also looking forward to the next chapter.
We would also like to thank their parents/carers for organising the Leavers Party, which was held after school and was a lovely way to celebrate with friends and families. Good luck Year 6 - shine like the stars that you are!
Thank you to all the parents who came to watch the Rocksteady Music Concert yesterday afternoon. It has been wonderful to watch the children's confidence grow and to see their enthusiasm for performing! Wow, what an amazing performance by the pupils! We are so proud of all the children for putting on another fabulous show at Number 8 in Pershore, with special congratulations to our Year 6 class for working so hard to learn all their lines! It was lovely to see all the pupils taking part on stage with a full audience. Thank you to all parents and carers for making sure the children were ready for the evening performances!
Well done to all the children who have been learning to play a musical instrument with Mrs Nicky Fox this year! Today, they performed in a concert in front of the whole school as well as their parents/carers; an amazing opportunity to showcase how much they have learnt!
The Orthoptist visited school this morning to carry out vision screening of our Reception children; they will be bringing the results home with them tomorrow.
Thank you to Mrs Clarke for organising a visit to Pershore Abbey for our Year 5 class last week. The children thoroughly enjoyed visiting the Abbey, dressed in mini-monks' habits and experiencing the life of a monk. They shared a frugal meal together and learnt about the Benedictine Monks who were once at Pershore Abbey.
