    • Year 1 Trip to the Three Counties Show

      Children in Year 1 enjoyed a wonderful trip to the Three Counties Show on Friday 13 June. They were able to watch sheep shearing, meet lots of animals and see the police dogs. Thank you to our parent helpers for supporting the children on this trip, we hope you enjoyed your day too!

    • Sports Day!

      We had a fabulous Sports Day in the sun yesterday with Reception and Key Stage 1 taking part first, supported by our House Captains from Year 5 and 6. They were followed by Key Stage 2 later in the morning. The children competed in a variety of events, including a Sack Race, Egg and Spoon Race, Hurdles, Balancing a Bean Bag, 3-Legged Race, Scarecrow Race, Javelin and Sprint and Relay. All the children showed great enthusiasm and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. There were also some fantastic examples of sporting skills and wonderful sportsmanship.

      A big "thank you" to the Friends for organising our Summer Fayre again this year! We would also like to thank everyone who supported this event by donating tombola prizes, buying raffle tickets, filling jolly jars and supporting all the stalls during the afternoon.     • Year 6 Transition

      Year 6 enjoyed a visit this morning from Mr Nockton, Head of School, as part of their transition to Pershore High in September. Mr Nockton explained the daily routines and the children were able to ask him any questions they had about the move up in September.

    • The History Man

      Yesterday, we welcomed the History Man back to school! Pupils in Year 5 enjoyed learning more about World War 1 and what life was like for a soldier during that period. The children also wore outfits to school depicting life at the time, including soldiers, nurses and even a carrier pigeon! Pupils in Year 4 were also able to learn a lot about transport and railways through the ages, looking at the many objects and exhibits the History Man brought with him. A fascinating day with lots of new knowledge gained!

    • Trip to the Swan Theatre

      Children in Reception and Year 1 enjoyed a trip to the Swan Theatre, Worcester this week to watch The Baddies, a fabulous show based on the picture book by superstar author and illustrator Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler. Thank you to the parents and grandparents who came with us - we hope you enjoyed the show too!

    • Year 6 go Bellboating!

      Year 6 enjoyed going bellboating on the River Avon in Pershore before half-term. As well as having a lot of fun, they were able to practice their technique and try out some racing ready for the Pershore Schools Bellboating Regatta later this month!

    • Little Litter Warriors

      Before half-term, we welcomed Karen from Little Litter Warriors to teach the children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 the importance of keeping our environment clean and free from litter. Each class had the opportunity to spend time with her in a different area around school, on and off the grounds. Some of the pieces of litter dated back to 2003!

      On Friday 2 May, children in Years 1 - 6 had a fantastic day with Team Rubicon! The coach was able to teach the children new skills, as well as promote confidence and resilience; the children really enjoyed the challenges that were set.
