The whole school came together today to observe a minute's silence and remember people who have died in wars and conflicts, and to reflect on the importance of peace. Each class had made their own poppy decoration to bring to the hall.

The whole school came together today to observe a minute's silence and remember people who have died in wars and conflicts, and to reflect on the importance of peace. Each class had made their own poppy decoration to bring to the hall.
On Monday, our Head Boy and Head Girl joined with other local schools to lay a poppy wreath at the annual Pershore Schools Armistice wreath laying service, at Pershore Commemorative Garden. The occasion was a wonderful opportunity for the children to remember those who gave their lives to protect others.
Yesterday, the children enjoyed an engaging and interactive assembly led by Rob from Severn Trent Water.
Tiddler Town visited school again this week and the children in Pre-school, Reception and Year 1 enjoyed playing in the different role-play areas and talking about what they would like to do when they grow up! Please have a look at their class page for more photos.

Last week, pupils in KS2 took part in SCARF LifeBase workshops as part of their PHSE curriculum. These workshops focus on providing children with the skills and positive mental attitudes they need in order to be resilient and bounce back from setbacks.

This week, Teddie received a special award for his fundraising efforts this year.
Children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 enjoyed a visit from some owls from The Falconry Centre, Hagley. They learnt so many interesting facts about owls. The owls flew across the school hall and even flew over the children's heads! They were also able to stroke one of the owl's soft feathers!
Our Pupil Leadership Team did a wonderful job of showing prospective parents around school during our recent Open Evening. We received some lovely comments about how enthusiastic the children were to show off our school and share some of the amazing things we do in school.
Our Year 6 Class had a fantastic time last week during their 2-day residential trip to Condover Hall in Shropshire. Mrs Poole and Miss Cooper were so proud of all the children for trying their very best with all the activities and supporting each other.
