Spellings will be sent home this week, we will do a test on the following Monday morning. Times tables will be sent on Thursday and we will test our knowledge the following Thursday. 

Dont forget your TT rockstars, Numberbots and lots of reading before bed. 

This week's show and tell is...create a home for an animal, either a real one in your garden and bring a picture to show us, or make it out of cardboard and tell us what animal it's for. A forest habitat in an old shoebox perhaps? We have been learning about all the different animal groups and what animals need to survive (water, air, shelter and food). 

This week's 10 minute challenge is...find all the common shapes around the house - a square, a triangle, a rectangle, a circle...if your child can do this easily, try to find 3D shapes; cube, cuboid, cone, sphere...if they are excellent at this, then you can ask them how many faces, edges and vertices it has!
