Safeguarding in our School

Orchard Primary and Pre-school are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff, volunteers and visitors to share this commitment.

If you are visiting us and are not known to school, as part of our safeguarding procedures, you will be required to show some form of photo ID to Reception staff. We will also need details of your DBS clearance if this has not already been provided to the school.

Parking

Parking on the school site can sometimes be limited. We are located in a residential area, and so we ask all visitors to park with care, ensuring that driveways and entrances to other properties are not blocked.

We have an accessible parking space at the front of the school and are happy to reserve spaces for visitors who notify us in advance if they need extra assistance.

Disabled Access

There is a ramp access to the building and accessibility across the school building.

Opening Hours

The school teaching day is from 8.45am – 3.15pm.

The school office is open from 8.30am – 4.00pm.
