William and his Hearing Dog

Today, staff and children welcomed William and his hearing dog Archie to school.  During a whole school assembly, William explained to the children, via his interpreter, how Archie has been trained to alert him to everyday sounds at work, work and in public places providing him with greater independence.  William and Archie also visited every classroom to enable the children to meet Archie and ask William any questions they had.
