Week 1

We were blown away by your amazing homework projects at the start of last half term and it was lovely to hear how much you enjoyed completing them.

As such, for this week's '10 Minute Challenge', please use the time to familiarise yourself with the Hot and Cold Deserts Knowledge Organiser (below) and complete a mini homework project based on our new topic. This will be due next Monday (7th) when we'll have our next 'Topic Walking Gallery' to show your creations! 

We'll share lots of ideas in school and can also send any resources home that may be needed. Please still continue to read, complete your spellings and times table practice each night. Thank you and enjoy :)   

Possible ideas:

• research and create a fact file/ poster for an area of your choice 
• produce your own piece of desert inspired artwork 
• design clothing or a suitable shelter to survive in the desert (either hot or cold)
• record (or research) the temperature and rainfall in Pershore for the week and compare it to temperature and rainfall in a chosen desert. • create a PPT with your top facts
