Week 1

We've been blown away by your amazing homework projects this year and it's been lovely to hear how much you've enjoyed completing them.

As such, for this week's 10 minute challenge, please use the time to familiarise yourself with our 'Local Environment' Knowledge Organiser (below) and complete a mini homework project based on our new topic. This will be due next Monday (12th) when we'll have our next 'Topic Walking Gallery' to show your fabulous creations! 

We'll share lots of ideas in school and can also send any resources home that may be needed. Please still continue to read, complete your spellings and times table practice each night. Thank you and enjoy :)   

Possible ideas:

• Help out in the local area e.g. a community litter pick.
• Research and create a fact file for an attraction or landmark in the local area.
• Compare our local area with another part of the world that we've studied this year- what's similar and what's different?
• Fieldwork in the local area- think of a question you'd like to find the answer to or a problem that needs to be solved. More information and ideas to support can be found here- What fieldwork can we do in the local area? - BBC Bitesize
• Learn about the history of Croome Court. 
• Take pictures of your favourite places to visit.
• Create a PPT with you top facts.
• Produce your own piece of Topic inspired artwork.
• Film and advert or informative video for Worcestershire (or a specific place within the local area).
