Spring has sprung down on the farm ... Miss Cooper has been busy helping with all the lambs being born!
Red Nose Day ... Today we came to Preschool wearing something red.
World Book Day ... We looked at books together and talked about how a book has a start, a middle and an end ... how we read the print from left to right, handle books carefully and turn the pages one by one.
Children's Mental Health ... Books we shared, talked about ... ideas, drawing, mark making and colours. Talking about our emotions ... also the people around us. Puppets and words ... 'The Invisible String', 'The Colour Monster' and 'Little Monkey Calms Down'
Spaghetti for cutting...strengthening our fine motor skills, tweezers, long, short, wet, squishy, 'Superworm'
Superhero Rescue ... HELP!!! HELP!!! What could we use ... can we cut?. We talked about scissor safety and how we use and hold them.
'Evil Peas' tweezers for fine motor skills. Catch them! Number recognition, counting in sequence, number and quantity.
