School Lunches / ParentPay

Our hot lunches are provided by Pershore High School.  Parents/carers are able to order meals on-line via the ParentPay website.  ParentPay is a secure website and you will be able to pay using your credit/debit card or at PayPoints situated within certain local shops.

Instructions, including login details, will be sent to you when your child starts school with us.  Meals can be ordered on as many or as few days as you wish.  There is always an option of a main meal, a vegetarian option, a packed lunch and a baked potato plus a dessert.  The cost of a main meal and dessert is £2.53.

Some important things to remember are:

  • The cut-off date for ordering meals is midnight on Tuesday to order for the following week (this is to allow the kitchen to receive numbers on a Wednesday to order the food for the following week).
  • If you order food through ParentPay but do not pay for the meals within 2 hours, the meal will be cancelled from the system (this is only for parents who pay for meals, it will not happen for those who do not have to pay).
  • Parents who wish to cancel a meal are asked to contact the High School directly (01386 552471 ext 228) by 9.00am.  Cancellations may be emailed (catering@pershore.worcs.sch.uk), again no later than 9.00am.
  • If your child has any special dietary requirements, ie nut allergy, dairy intolerance, please ask the school office for a “Special Dietary Needs Form".

We have included below the link to our Lunch Menu, as well as the link to the ParentPay website.

Food Allergies and Special Dietary Needs

Our school menus are designed to cater for the majority of the school population by offering a variety of foods in a range of dishes, including vegetarian options. We do however acknowledge that some pupils may have special dietary requirements and that, where possible, menus may need to be adapted to suit those needs. For the purpose of this information the term “special diet” refers to any medically prescribed diet, including food allergies. So please:

  • Complete all relevant sections of the Special Dietary Needs Form as fully and as accurately as you can.
  • Do not use the form to describe your child’s food likes and dislikes.
  • Dietary needs due to religious or personal beliefs or food preferences, eg veganism, should not be recorded on this form. We believe our menus offer a diverse range of foods to cater for pupils for all backgrounds and therefore cannot make menu adaptations for special diets other than those that have been medically prescribed.
  • Return the form to the school office as soon as possible with supporting documentation from the child’s GP, dietician or paediatrician.  Once we have this information, we’ll share it with our staff and our catering provider, so they can make sure your child gets alternative meals that are safe for them. If your child’s special dietary requirements are particularly complex, we may contact you for further information and guidance to understand how to best meet their needs.
  • If your child’s condition changes after you send us the form, you need to tell us as soon as possible.
