Homework - Week 1 -

Maths -

I would like the children to practice their times tables using TTRockstars. 

The children will be focusing on the specific times tables that they currently need to practice.

The children will be having a weekly times tables test on a Friday (specific to the times tables that they are working on) with the aim of building up the fluency and their confidence with them.

Spellings-

This week I would like the children to practice their spellings (Either their phonics spellings or the class spellings – which are below)

In class spellings are all using the prefixes of in- and dis- which we have been learning how to use in reading lessons this week

Inhuman – Disapprove – Incorrect – Inaccurate – Disappear – Dislike – Incomplete

Topic -

This week we have been learning about different cities in Italy and locating them on a map

We learned about

• Venice, Rome, Milan and Turin

We did not learn about the cities in great depth individually, just about where they are on the map of Italy.

I would like the children to create a fact file about either one of these cities or one of the other major cities that they would like to learn about in Italy
