On Tuesday Year 2 enjoyed a wet and windy visit to the Cotswold Wildlife Park! The main aim of our visit was to see the giraffes, Wallace and Century; to experience them first hand and to learn a few new facts to support our topic and literacy work in the classroom. The visit was also a great opportunity to reinforce what we had been learning throughout the Autumn Term in topic, eg what animals eat, food chains, categorising them based on common features etc. Year 2 had a fabulous time with a long list of favourites, although I think we were fairly pleased to get back on the warm bus at the end!
Thank you to all the parents who came to help on this trip.
