Year 5's Anglo-Saxon Experience

It was an exciting start to this half term’s History topic as we received a special visit from an Anglo Saxon! We experienced what life was like during this period and identified the main changes that took place - focusing primarily on religion. We loved getting to dress up, have a battle, handle weapons and play Anglo Saxon games (just to name a few of the amazing things we did!) We are completely hooked and are very excited to learn more as we step back in time for our 'Invaders!' Topic.
