Reception children dressed up in their Easter bonnets and went on parade to find the hidden Easter Eggs! They thoroughly enjoyed collecting the colourful eggs, which were really well hidden. After lots of running around, the children decided that it was only fair to share out all the eggs with the rest of the school.
We are very grateful to Asda, Pershore who kindly donated the Easter Eggs and Bonnets to the children.
Children in Year 3 have been enjoying weekly drumming sessions with a tutor from Worcestershire Youth Music. Today, parents and carers were invited into school to hear them perform and celebrate their achievements - a loud but very enjoyable event!
A man who was inspired by the artist Lowry came to Cherry Orchard. The man told us some interesting facts about Mr Lowry. Mr Lowry’s mother (Elizabeth) used to dress him in dresses because she had wanted a girl!
In school Laurence Stephen Lowry was more of an artist than a learner, he doodled a lot. His doodling was simple, it was simple geometric shapes.
