On Tuesday 17 May we had a Y4/5/6 cricket tournament at Inkberrow with Inkberrow Primary, we got to play 4 different games. We worked in mixed teams and had a fun time both batting and bowling. Harry caught some good balls and we scored some wickets too. We came 3rd, 5th and 6th overall. We would like to thank Miss Holliday and Worcester Cricket Club for hosting and for inviting us.
Our Year 6 pupils have been sitting their SATs this week. They have all worked really hard and tried their best - well done everyone, we are very proud of you all.
Today children in Reception to Year 5 enjoyed a cricket taster session with staff from Worcester Cricket. Luckily, rain did not stop play and everyone enjoyed practicing different ball skills – throwing, catching and batting!
It was lovely that so many parents and families were able to join us for our picnic on Friday to celebrate the King's Coronation. We would also like to thank the parents who came in to put up the bunting and balloons and helped with the tables and activities. The children had a great time taking part in parachute games, a disco and craft activities.
Our Summer Production this year will be Pirates of the Curry Bean! Year 6 will soon be starting to learn lines so they can audition for parts. Further information regarding tickets will be sent home nearer the time.
