Yesterday, Year 4 and Year 5 went to see Mary Poppins Returns at Number 8 in Pershore. I enjoyed it, my favourite character was Mary Poppins because I loved it when she was flying and when they went into imaginary lands. I'm really glad we got invited to it.

  • Armistice Day at the Abbey

    Fri 08 Nov 2019

On the 7 November we were invited to Pershore Abbey’s Remembrance Service for local schools.  Two children from Year 5 laid a wreath in the Commemorative Garden before the service and five children from Year 4 and 5 read a reading during the service. We all wore our poppies and participated with respect and thoughtfulness during the two minutes silence. The service highlighted the sacrifices that men and women had made for us during the Wars and the part that animals also played, linking with the unveiling of the War Horse Memorial in Pershore on Saturday 9 November. Many thanks to Reverend Claire and Mrs Clarke for organising the service.
