Last night Cherry Orchard played a friendly match against Holy Redeemer; this is the boys' report:
We played well as a team for our first game but sadly Holy Redeemer won 7-1. Holy Redeemer had a lot of possession and Liam N was good in the sticks. Jack scored a great goal with a great assist from Cody. It was an exciting game to watch and we had a few injuries.
Well done Cody, Jack, Lewis, Rowan, Cian, Malia, Alisha and Liam - we are very proud of you.
Year 1 thoroughly enjoyed themselves on their trip to Lower Smite Farm last week as part of our Autumn Term topic on "From Field to Fork". We didn't let the rain stop us exploring the fields and gardens. We looked at where bread comes from and how it is made; we even made our own bread rolls .... yum yum!
