  • Science Week

    Fri 28 May 2021

For our Science Week this year we focussed on "states of matter" across the school. We looked at working scientifically by enquiry, collecting data, devising questions and planning variables in experiments. Throughout the week each year group had a different aspect of states of matter to study including chromatography, separating mixtures, changing materials by heating and cooling and sorting materials according to their properties. The week culminated in a virtual assembly where each class shared their findings with the rest of the school.

  • Maintaining current Public Health Controls after the Half Term Holiday

    Fri 28 May 2021

All schools have been asked not to reduce their control measures after the holiday period as prevention of infection transmission between younger age groups in the population will be important because they are not vaccinated. Therefore, our control measures, including size of bubbles, social distancing, hand washing, ventilation requirements and enhanced cleaning of school and our resources will remain unchanged until further notice. Thank you for your continued support.

  • Birthday Celebrations!

    Fri 28 May 2021

This afternoon parties have been held in each class; this was to celebrate the birthdays of all the children born in May and a small cake was given to all those with a birthday this month.

  • Worcester's Big Parade

    Fri 28 May 2021

Our Ele-Baby has been returned to St Richards ready for the Big Parade but we have all been asked to keep our designs under wraps until the trail goes live on 12 July!  We would like to say a big "thank you" to Mrs Cantrill for co-ordinating this project at school.

  • Vision Screening Checks

  • Little Litter Warriors

    Fri 14 May 2021

Yesterday children in Year 2 and Year 3 took part in a litter picking adventure with Karen from Little Litter Warriors; this programme is sponsored by Wychavon District Council and is designed to teach the children about litter pollution and their local environment.

The children learned a lot about how long it takes for some rubbish to biodegrade and found some very old pieces of litter! They also discovered that we have a fox or badger's den near our Forest School area.

  • The Big Ask!

    Tue 04 May 2021

The Children's Commissioner for England would like all our pupils to take part in The Big Ask - the largest ever survey of children and young people in England. The Commissioner will use the information you provide to tell the government what you think, and what children need to live happier lives.  This survey will only take you 5-10 minutes.
