  • Bellboating

    Fri 30 Jun 2023

During the first week of the Summer Term, children in Year 4 and Year 5 had the opportunity to take part in bellboating sessions on the River Avon in Pershore. These enabled the children to practice before taking part in the Pershore Schools Bellboating Regatta on Thursday 29 June 2023.

The children really enjoyed the experience and showed great teamwork during the regatta - the practice certainly paid off as Year 4 were awarded the trophy as winners of their age group!

  • Year 5 Music Concert

    Thu 29 Jun 2023

On Tuesday afternoon, we were treated to a lovely concert by our Year 5 class. They have been working really hard in their FAME lessons this year, learning to play the cornet with a music teacher from SevernArts. We would like to thank their parents and carers for coming to the concert and also for allowing their children to practice at home!

  • Monk's Day Experience

    Thu 29 Jun 2023

Yesterday, our Year 5 class took part in a Monks Day Experience. The children walked to  Pershore Abbey in silence and wearing Monks habits borrowed from the Abbey. They learned about life as a Monk and shared a frugal meal! We would like to thank staff at the Abbey for providing this experience for the children.

  • Sports Day and Summer Garden Party

    Mon 26 Jun 2023

The children had an amazing time on Friday when they all took part in our Sports Morning; all the children were fantastic and showed great sportsmanship. A big thank you to Miss Mabbott and our Sports Coach, Mr Ferman, for organising the events.

Sports Day was followed at lunchtime by our Summer Garden Party organised by the Friends/PTA. Thank you to all the parents who helped to organise this event and everyone who supported it by buying raffle tickets, having a go on the tombola, buying ice creams and tickets for the the bouncy slide! There was a lovely family atmosphere on the playground; we hope you all enjoyed sharing a picnic with your child.
