Well done everyone!
  • National Day of Reflection

    Tue 23 Mar 2021
Today, 23 March 2021, marks one year since the first UK lockdown due to Covid-19 began. We are aware that both children and staff have lost loved ones during the last few months and today we took part in a minute's silence for a moment of reflection. As well as remembering the sad things that have happened, we encouraged the children to think of all the positive things that have taken place during this time.
  • Red Nose Day

    Mon 22 Mar 2021

Thank you to everyone who supported Red Nose Day on Friday! There was a sea of red in school, and a lot of superheroes, as the children dressed up to support Comic Relief! The whole school also came together, via Zoom, to take part in an assembly on kindness.

We raised the fantastic sum of £262.54!

  • Easter Trail around Pershore

    Fri 19 Mar 2021

Please take a look at the Easter Trail happening around Pershore from Sunday 28th March – Saturday 10th April. There will be 10 eggs hidden around the town and families can use a map to help find them all. The trail has specifically been designed for children and families and is a great opportunity to get out for a walk and some fresh air!

A copy of the trail is on the Letters Page of our website.

  • Worcester's Big Parade

    Wed 10 Mar 2021
We are excited to be taking part in Worcester's Big Parade this year! During the summer, Worcester will be brought to life by a parade of beautifully decorated elephant sculptures and we have purchased an elephant calf to decorate. These calves will be exhibited in clusters within Crowngate Shopping Centre and selected shops within the city. Once the parade has drawn to a close, the elephant will be brought back to school for us to display here. All proceeds raised from this event will be donated to St Richards Hospice.
  • Sport Relief 2020

    Fri 05 Mar 2021
We have received our certificate this morning from Sport Relief confirming we raised the fantastic sum of £186.19! Thank you to everyone who contributed.
  • World Book Day

    Thu 04 Mar 2021

Despite not being in school for World Book Day, we still managed to celebrate either in school or via home learning! Each class took part in a variety of activities during the day, including - story sessions via Zoom (including a story session with Tom Fletcher), dressing up as a favourite character from a book, designing book covers and sharing their favourite stories.

By reading together and making stories fun, we hope to develop a culture of reading for pleasure which will encourage the next generation of readers.

  • Y6 Transition Meeting via Zoom!

    Mon 01 Mar 2021

On Friday, Year 6 had their first transition meeting with Pershore High School via Zoom. Mr Nockton spoke to Year 6 about what the process for transition would be and what life would be like at the High School when they go in September. The children were then able to ask questions about their worries and concerns. This is the beginning of the process to ease the children into their Secondary life throughout the Summer term leading up to September. The children were very excited when the Zoom call was over and it prompted lots of valuable discussions. If the children or parents have any further questions Mr Nockton is happy to answer via email.
