  • Warwick Castle Trip

    Tue 24 Sep 2013

Yesterday, children in Year 1, 2 and 3 enjoyed an exciting trip to Warwick Castle.  They climbed 530 steps up the spriral staircase to get to the top of the tower where the views were amazing and they could see the old mound where the motte would have been and a ditch where the moat would have been.

The children were also able to watch a bowman and bird of prey demonstration and learned how the castle was designed to make it difficult to attack.

    Fri 20 Sep 2013
The children were very excited to welcome parents and grandparents to join their Maths lesson this morning!  The session began with the children sharing the games that they take home to play each week followed by adults joining in a daily Maths lesson.  Look out for the next opportunity to come and join in the fun!
  • Roald Dahl Day

    Fri 13 Sep 2013

The school was full of characters from the Roald Dahl books! From foxes to James and the Giant Peach the children (and staff) got to experience learning activities from The BFG, Matilda, George's Marvellous Medicine and James and the Giant Peach as well as hearing extracts of the stories.  We hope that they will all want their parents and grandparents to read the full versions to them in the future!
