Thu 08 Oct 2015 Miss Scourfield
What a wonderful afternoon!  Today the children brought in their beautiful cakes and bakes for our very own Year 1 Bake Off!  The wonderful entries were judged by a panel of Year 4 children who found it very tricky to decide on the winners.  After a lot of thought they chose three worthy winners who were presented with prizes.  Following the competition the children hosted their own cake sale.  They worked hard selling their cakes, handling money and using their beautiful manners when talking to the customers.  A total of £28 was raised.  Thank you to all the parents and carers who supported this event.
  • Year 4 Tag Rugby Tournament

Tue 06 Oct 2015 Mr Hyde

On Friday 2 October eight of our Year 4's were invited to take part in a Rugby Tournament organised by Worcester Warriors at Pershore Rugby Club.  After a few weeks training, our team were ready to take on the challenge!  Each and every student gave 100% in every match and won 3 out of their 4 matches.  They were a credit to Cherry Orchard; the sponsors at the Rugby Club commented on how well behaved the team were and how impressed they were with the standard of play.

Well done to the Team (Cai, Charlie, Eve, Jayden, Megan, Robbie, Rowyn and Ryan) for an excellent result at our first Rugby Tournament.  You are all stars!
