On the last day of term, 10 children from Year 3 and 4 represented our school at the Year 4/5 Fun Swimming Gala held at Pershore Leisure Centre. The other schools taking part were Abbey Park First and Middle, Eckington and St Barnabas First and Middle. Each child took part in an individual race, a cannon race and a fun race. Congratulations to Sophia, Alice, Emily, Jemima, Anya, Luke, Milo, Alfie, Ross and Sam for gaining 3rd place overall in this fun and exciting event!.
This morning we were proud to celebrate the achievements of the following children: Carla (Stage 7 swimming award and 100m distance swimming award), Alice (Chief Scout's Bronze Award and 8th Kup Tae Kwon Do award), Anya (Blue Peter Badge for sending in her "I Love Animals" picture and Chief Scouts Bronze Award), Owen (Blue Peter Badge for his letter about being a big brother), Hetty (Level 7 British Gymnastics proficiency award), Danielle (Stage 4 Swimming Award and Level 7 British Gymnastics proficiency award), Oliver L (Stage 3 Swimming Award), Katie (Stage 6 Swimming Award), Jemima (Stage 7 Swimming Award, 100m distance award and making her Brownie Guide Promise), Emily (Swimming Challenge - Gold Award), Lily (Stage 5 swimming award), Rebecca (Stage 5 swimming award, Maisie P (Swimming Challenge - Bronze Award), Liam H (Blue Peter Badge for his story writing), Connor (Beavers Awards), Maisie B (special ambassador to Pershore Carnival) and Isabel L (Level a1 National Indoor Climbing Achievement Scheme).
Mrs Bitcon also gave out book tokens to all the children who had achieved 140 reads.
