  • Monks Day

    Mon 12 Jun 2017
Today our Year 4 class experienced life as a Monk!  Dressed in Monks' habits the children walked in silence to Pershore Abbey where they were given a tour of the Abbey and grounds and learned a lot of interesting facts about the history of the site.  They then ate a meal of bread, cheese and fruit.  As this meal was eaten in silence too, the children had to learn the different signs to ask for food!

  • Pershore Carnival

    Mon 05 Jun 2017
We did it again!  Cherry Orchard First School and Caterpillars Pre School won First Prize in the Walking Float category at Pershore Carnival on Bank Holiday Monday.  Torrential rain did not deter the children and their parents (and Miss Dodd!) from taking part and joining in the fun of the Carnival.  A big thank you to the Friends for organising our entry in the procession and to everyone who supported us.
