On Thursday 17 December, staff and children said a sad farewell to Mrs McManus who had worked at the school for 28 years. We wish her a long and healthy retirement and look forward to seeing her when she pops in.
We also said goodbye to Mrs Coaker who has been at the school since qualifying as a teacher and has now gone to an exciting new job in Worcester. We wish her lots of luck and look forward to seeing her at future parents and Friends events.
On Friday we also said "au revoir" to Miss Scourfield but we will be seeing her again at the beginning of February when she will be in school one day a week.
This morning our Year 4 class entertained the Pathfinders Group at their Christmas meeting. The children sang songs, read poems and helped with the raffle. They then enjoyed chatting with the members before being treated to mince pies and biscuits.
All the children who have now achieved "20 reads" were invited to a Tea Party with Mrs Bitcon this afternoon. They all enjoyed cakes and juice while they talked about their favourites stories.
Yesterday afternoon we held our traditional Nativity Service at Pershore Abbey. We were delighted to be joined by Rev'd Claire and lots of families and friends. Our thanks go to the staff of Pershore Abbey for once again making us feel so welcome.
