  • Poppy Appeal

    Thank you to everyone who supported the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal in school.  This year we raised the fantastic sum of £201.01 and have today received a Certificate of Appreciation for our support.
  • Reception Visit to Pershore Library

    Unfortunately Reception's visit to Pershore Library this week was cancelled as we received a weather warning for very high winds.  The good news is that we have been able to re-arrange this trip for Wednesday 6 December!
  • Let's Get Spotty for Children in Need!

    On Friday 17 November children and staff all came to school wearing something spotty to support Children in Need!  Each class also made cookies or pizzas and sold these after school, raising an amazing sum of £186.13 for the charity.  Thank you for all your donations.
  • Early Years - Grandparents Afternoon

    On Tuesday 14 November we invited our grandparents to share our afternoon with us.  They had the opportunity to look at our Learning Journeys and share activities with us.  The Pre School grandparents also had the chance to make hand print cards.  We then went into the hall and performed some songs for our grandparents; finishing with Grandpa's Glasses along with actions!

     

    We really enjoyed having our grandparents in school and thank them for coming.

     

  • Pershore Christmas Lights Switch On

    Congratulations to Jack L, Brooklyn and Frankee who have been chosen by Pershore Youth Council to help switch on the Christmas lights in Pershore on Saturday 25 November!
  • Remembrance Day

    On Friday morning our Year 3 and Year 4 classes attended the Pershore School Armistice Service at Pershore Abbey.  Anya, Alice, Gabriel and Emily were each chosen to read extracts explaining key events from the different conflicts.  Luke and Lilly laid our school wreath at the Commemorative Stone.
  • Celebration Assembly

    This morning we held our Celebration Assembly and were delighted to celebrate the achievements of the following children: Cody (Beavers Awards), Carla (1st place at Hampton Flower Show for her decorated gingerbread and 2nd place for her garden in a tray box), Kian (2nd place at Hampton Flower Show for his decorated gingerbread and 1st place for his garden in a tray box), Maisie B (Learn to Swim Level 3), Tiffany (Summer Reading Challenge and crocheting her own hat), Lily F (Summer Reading Challenge), Juliette (Learn to Swim Level 2 and 5m distance award), Jemima (Swimming Challenge Silver and Gold Award, 800m distance award), Danielle (Stage 6 Swimming Award, 25m distance award and gymnastics Gold Award), Leo (Learn to Swim Level 1), George (Learn to Swim Level 1, 5m distance award, Maths Challenge Medal and Summer Reading Challenge),  Meela (Summer Reading Challenge and Learn to Swim Level 1), Josh P (Hiking/Walking and Collectors Badges),  Alice (winning a prize for designing a Weetabuddy character), Maisie P (riding rosettes - 2 first and 1 second) and Lily D (Swimming Challenge Silver Award).

     

    Well done everyone, we are very proud of you!
