• Christmas Crafts

  Wearing wellies and warm clothes, children in Reception joined in with other local pre school and Reception children to enjoy a morning of Christmas craft making at Bowbrook School!  A lovely time was had by all who took part.

• Reading "Tea Party"

  Today Farah, Connie, Sasha, Steven, Codie, Josh S and Lily joined Mrs Bitcon for Afternoon Tea to celebrate achieving "80 reads" this term!  The children talked about their favourite books and characters while enjoying cakes and fruit juice!

• William and his Hearing Dog

  Today, staff and children welcomed William and his hearing dog Archie to school.  During a whole school assembly, William explained to the children, via his interpreter, how Archie has been trained to alert him to everyday sounds at work, work and in public places providing him with greater independence.  William and Archie also visited every classroom to enable the children to meet Archie and ask William any questions they had.

• Well Done Anya!

  Congratulations to Anya (Reception) who has won the "Design a Pershore Christmas Card" competition organised by Pershore Community Youth Council!  Anya will be switching on the Christmas lights on Saturday (23 November) in Broad Street at 4.45pm.

• Remembrance Day Service

  Today the children in Year 4 represented the school at a Remembrance Day Service for children held at the Commemorative Garden in Pershore.  The children had made a poppy wreath which they were able to lay during the service.

   

  At 11am the whole school joined together on the playground for a minute's silence.  We were very grateful to Mr Stanton (Governor) who joined us and played The Last Post on the cornet.

• Celebration Assembly

  This month we celebrated the achievements of the following children:

   

  Ross (Swimming Stage 2), Steven (Player of the Match, Pershore Town FC Under 9's), Charlie (Swimming Level 6), Eve (Swimming Stage 1), Josh S (Bronze Swimming Award), Emily (Rainbow Promise), Cai (painting using marbling technique), Carl, Lucas and Sam   (Swimming Gala with 1st Pershore Beavers), Alex H-S (completing Summer Reading Challenge), Sophie (Windsurfing Course), Ryan Y (Stage 6 swimming and 25m Award), Frankee (5m Swimming Award), Emma G (Stage 2 Swimming), Evie (SuperStars - Super Star of the Day)Connie (Summer Reading Challenge) and the girls in Year 3 and 4 who took part in the Girls Football Festival at Evesham High School!

   

  What a talented group of children we have!  Thank you once again to all the parents and carers who came to our Assembly.
