• Miss Wilson

  On Friday we said "goodbye" to Miss Wilson who is leaving to take up a permanent post following successful completion of her apprenticeship.  We wish her lots of luck and happiness in her new role.

• Visit by Simon Morse, Author + Illustrator

  Simon, a talented Author and Illustrator, visited our school today!  His recent titles include "The Adventures of Rocket Kid" and "Monster School for Ghosts and Ghouls".  Simon visited every classroom showing the children how a story can be put together and the importance of having fun and using their imagination when writing.  The children all agreed it had been a lot of fun!

• Mobile Library Visit!

  Today we had a visit from Worcestershire County Council's Mobile Library!  All the children were able to visit the library in small groups and choose several books to read either at home or at school.  We look forward to another visit from them later in the year!

• Ofsted's Interim Assessment

  We were pleased to receive an Interim Assessment from Ofsted this week indicating that our performance has been sustained.  As a result our next inspection will not take place before the summer term 2015.  A copy of this letter is available on our school website.

• Bellboating - Year 4

  Yesterday our Year 4 children braved the weather to take part in Bellboating on the River Avon in Pershore!  Despite several downpours the children enjoyed taking part in this exciting activity, working as a team and practicing their skills for the Regatta at the end of June.
