  • Christmas Week

    Sun 20 Dec 2020

Although we have celebrated Christmas in a very different way this year, the children have had a lovely week in school. Christmas lunch was served on Thursday in class bubbles and staff and children wore their Christmas jumpers to add the festive feel of the day! On Friday afternoon each class had a Christmas party and every child who had their birthday in December was given an individual cake to celebrate their own special day.

Instead of our annual visits to the pantomime and Pershore Abbey, this year Mrs Bitcon arranged for all the children to watch an online pantomime - Cinderella - and Rev Claire from the Abbey shared an online story of the Nativity with us. We have all enjoyed the festivities this week.

  • Sending Christmas Wishes

    Sun 20 Dec 2020
Pupils in Year 4 and Year 5 have been busy writing Christmas letters and poems to send to residents of a local care home. They were delighted to receive lovely letters back from the staff and residents.
  • Coats4Calais

    Wed 16 Dec 2020 Year 5

Pupils in Year 5 decided that they wanted to give something back to the community and, while researching, found an appeal from Coats4Calais. The appeal urged people to donate old coats to help clothe refugee families. The children watched a refugee's diary video and researched to learn more about their experiences. They then created posters to be put around school to raise awareness and to let people know about their collection.

To see more about Year 5's idea, please have a look at their class page on our website.

  • Roman Day!

    Thu 10 Dec 2020 Year 4
As a fabulous finish to their Roman topic this term, Year 4 had a Roman Day yesterday! There were some amazing costumes as the whole class dressed up as Romans and had a very busy day. They looked at Roman numerals in maths, wrote a diary entry in literacy, fought in a battle and then had a very special visit from Caesar in the afternoon!
