• Tiddler Town comes to Orchard Primary and Preschool!

  Children in Pre-school, Reception and Year 1 had a wonderful time with a visit from Tiddler Town yesterday.  Tiddler Town is a pop-up role play town with 12 play zones designed for imaginative play. The children loved exploring the different role play areas and talking about what they'd like to be when they grow up. Some of their favourites were; the police station, the salon, boutique, fire station, farm shop and the vets! Please have a look at their class page to see some of their photos.

• Year 6 Residential Trip

  Mrs Bitcon was really proud of Year 6 this week for their behaviour and attitude at Condover Hall during their residential trip. The children had great fun, ate lots of amazing food, took lots of risks and were very brave. They had a go at many different activities including archery, multi-vines, rock climbing, abseiling and silent disco! Year 6 would like to thank Miss Mabbott, Mrs Bitcon and Mrs McCullagh for coming with them!

• Year 2 Trip to Cotswold Wildlife Park

  Year 2 enjoyed their first trip of the year to the Cotswold Wildlife Park yesterday.  The children were able to see first-hand the animals they have been talking and learning about in class. They were able to see mammals, reptiles, amphibians and birds as well as having a keeper talk all about Geronimo (penguins). The children are all super excited to write their recount of the trip in the coming weeks!

• Visiting Pershore High Street

  Pupils in Year 4 have been visiting the High Street this week to gather information about Pershore. In particular, they focussed on different facilities in the area - the type of shops, restaurants, buildings and housing. The children will be sharing and analysing the information they gained in their History and Geography lesson. Thank you very much to our parent helpers for making these visits possible.

• Ancient Greece Topic

  Yesterday morning, Year 5 received a special visit from an ancient Greek! Throughout the morning, the children took part in a variety of activities to fully immerse themselves in their topic on Ancient Greece. To add to the experience, the children dressed as a Greek or something from that period, for example a Greek God or a mythical creature. Thank you for all your support for this topic - there were lots of amazing costumes!
