    As part of our Science Topic, we had a special visit from Libby's mum. She taught us all about dental hygiene and how to look after our teeth. Thank you for visiting us - we learnt a lot!

  • Commando Joe Day

    Today  we had a special visitor in school - Commando Pete - who completed a special Commando Joe session with all the children in school. Here are some of the quotes from Year 3 pupils:

     

    "It was fun because we worked in House Teams and we practiced the values of communication, teamwork and empathy".

  • The Children's Commissioner for England launches The Big Summer Survey

    This month the Children's Commissioner for England launched The Big Summer Survey, a national conversation with children in England about their experiences over the summer holidays. She would like every child in England to have the opportunity to take part.

     

    The Big Summer Survey forms part of her Independent Review into family life which will inform the Government about the best ways to support families across the country, including what role schools can play.

  • Community Action Awards

    On Friday 16 September Judy Dale and Michael Hodges accompanied Clive Corbett (Executive Officer of the Avonreach Academy Trust) to a number of local schools, including ourselves, to present the 2022 Avonreach Academy Trust/Pershore Civic Society Community Action awards. Nominations had been given by teachers who were encouraged to identify deserving students who were doing good work in their communities. Amongst others, awards were given to classes and individuals who do daily good works as litter pickers, environmental activists, carers to disabled siblings…… We are very proud of all the children.
