• Worcester Youth Music - Playing Session

  On Wednesday 25 June three of our Year 3 pupils took part in a violin playing session organised by Worcestershire Youth Music.  Lucas, Cain and Evie joined children from other schools at Simon De Montfort Middle School where they learnt to play two new pieces of music before giving a short concert to parents.  It was a great experience for all the children, enabling them to practice the skills they had learned during their class lessons.

• Bellboating Regatta

  Congratulations to our Year 4 Bellboating Team (Carl, Nellie, Lita, Steven, Harry R, Ryan, Lucas -Y3 and Robbie Y2 plus Mr Komor and Mr Bitcon!) who came second in the annual Bellboating Regatta in Pershore this weekend.The children paddled really well together and reached the Group A Final where they were narrowly beaten by Upton Snodsbury!  Well done everyone - Mrs Bitcon is very proud of you!

   

  Congratulations also to our Parents Team who came second in their race!

• Picnic at Bowbrook

  Unfortunately the picnic at Bowbrook House School which had been arranged for our Reception children was cancelled because of the rain; the children enjoyed their packed lunches at school instead!

• Art Exhibition

  Yesterday our school hall was transformed into an Art Exhibition and parents and carers were invited into school to view all the artwork, from self-portraits to landscapes, which  the children have been working on this term.  Canapes and light refreshments were served and parents were able to purchase the artwork.  All proceeds from this event will be used for further art projects in school.

• Sports Day and Summer Fayre

  The sun shone on Friday as we celebrated our annual Sports Day followed by the Summer Fayre!  Thank you to everyone who supported these events and took part in the parents or siblings races as well! Thanks also to the Friends who worked so hard to arrange the Summer Fayre.  A great evening was had by all!

• Celebration Assembly

  This morning we held our monthly Celebration Assembly and celebrated the achievements of Ed (Stage 3 swimming), Frankee (Stage 4 swimming), Emma (Stage 4 swimming), Jemima (Stage 1 swimming), Sophie (Stage 6 swimming), Sophia (Stage 3 swimming), Emily (Stage 3 swimming), Alexia (Stage 3 swimming), Millie (10m swimming award), Charlie (Bronze Award - swimming), Josh (Gold Award - swimming), Farah (Stage 7 swimming) and Ryan (Bronze Award - swimming).  Congratulations everyone!

• Day Trip to Weston-Super-Mare

  On Wednesday 26 May, two coaches full of parents and children braved the weather for a day trip to Weston-Super-Mare for an exciting family day out during the half-term break!  Despite the showers, everyone managed to spend some time on the beach and enjoyed the amusements on the pier!

  On Bank Holiday Monday our crew of pirates and the navy sailed down Pershore High Street as they took part in the annual town Carnival.  Many thanks to the Friends who worked so hard on the float; it looked fabulous!  Thanks also to all the parents and children who took part, it was lovely to see so many of you joining in!
