  • Y2 visit Dippy the Dinosaur!

    Fri 22 Jun 2018
As part of their Summer Term topic on dinosaurs, Year 2 visited Birmingham Museum of Art yesterday to see the famous Diplodocus on tour from the Natural History Museum!  This visit was a hands-on exciting session bringing the story of Dippy the Dinosaur to life by exploring the world he came from, his friends and Prehistoric ecosystems.  The children really enjoyed their visit and would like to thank all the parents who went with them to help on this trip.
  • The Newspaper Challenge

Thu 07 Jun 2018 Mrs Orban
Thank you to all the dads, grandads, grandmas and mums who took part in our newspaper tower challenge this morning.  The children had lots of fun trying to make a weak material like newspaper strong enough to stand up!  They had to investigate the different forces that were acting on their towers.  Well done to Bella and her grandparents who  built the winning free standing tower which was 1.6 metres high!
  • Pershore Carnival Winners!

    Mon 04 Jun 2018

Congratulations to all those involved in our float at Pershore Carnival on Bank Holiday Monday - we won the competition for "Best Motorised Float"!

The float looked fantastic and the atmosphere was brilliant - a great way to mark the 50th Anniversary of Cherry Orchard First School as well as the 50th Anniversary of Pershore Carnival.

A big thank you to the Friends for organising the float and to all the parents and children who supported us by painting, blowing up balloons and cheering us on along the route.  Well done to all involved.
