On Friday 8 December, Year 3 were invited to sing Christmas carols for the residents at Heathlands Residential Care Home. We had a snowy walk to the home, sang our festive songs and we even decorated some special Christmas cookies! The trip was made extra special by the staff at Heathlands as they had arranged for us to meet some real reindeer and they gave us all a Christmas goody bag! We would like to thank the staff at Heathlands for inviting us along for a fun-filled Christmas morning.
Last Friday Year 4 were very excited to go into the local community to take part in two special carol services. Firstly they sang for an audience at Pershore Library before walking (in the snow!) to the Civic Centre to take part in the Chairman's Carol Concert. We were very proud of Year 4 and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves. We would also like to thank both Pershore Library and the Civic Centre for inviting us.
On Wednesday we were all excited in Reception as we were going on our first trip! We walked to the library in Pershore. When we arrived we were read some Christmas stories, then we made Christmas cards and coloured in Christmas pictures. Then we sang some Christmas stories together. It was such a fun visit.
