• Bellboating Regatta

  Wow, what a day!  Once again our Year 4 team, led by Mr Hassall and Mr Bitcon, paddled to victory in both their heats, coming in the top 5 schools overall.  In the tense final between local schools, where boats collided in their effort to be supreme Year 4 winners, we were pipped to the post coming a very respectable second!

   

  We would like to thank the parents, and children, for supporting this local community event which such enthusiasm and good sportsmanship.  We look forward to next year!

• Teddy Bear's Picnic!

  Today the children in Reception had a fantastic time at the Teddy Bear's Picnic at Bowbrook!  They took part in a giant treasure hunt searching for 10 different types of bears.  During the day they also had the opportunity to play on the large playground equipment as well as exploring the Forest School area.  Many thanks to our two Governors for helping out on the day.  Everyone had a great time!

• Summer Production

  Rehearsals are well under way for our Summer Production and the children are learning their lines well!  Tickets will be on sale soon - look out for details!

• Sports Day

  Following last year's disappointment when we had to cancel our Sports Day several times, we were pleased this year to almost complete this event!  The children were able to compete in most of the events (sprint, high jump and throwing amongst others) before the rain came down.  A celebration assembly was then held in the school hall and those who won or came second were congratulated before all children were presented with a medal for taking part.  Our Sports Coaches were very impressed with the talents of the children and the great sportsmanship on show!  All the children should be very proud of themselves!

• Legoland Trip!

  On Tuesday 11 June, children from all classes enjoyed a fantastic trip to Legoland, Windsor.  The coaches left school at 7.30am to ensure that everyone could make the most of the day.  Thank you to all the parents and staff who accompanied the children; the small group sizes ensured that everyone could go on lots of rides and watch the shows.  A very tired, but happy, group of children arrived back at school at 7pm.

• Mercian Regiment Colours Ceremony

  A very smartly dressed Year 2 class enjoyed a special trip to Worcester Sixways Stadium to watch the Mercian Regiment Colours Ceremony!  The children enjoyed watching the soldiers march, listening to the military bands and seeing the military dogs!
