On Tuesday 7th March, children from Year 3 and 4 took part in an AAT football tournament at Pershore High School. We played several games against Inkberrow and Norton and came 4th overall.
ZG scored a 'top bins' goal. We won 1 game, drew 2 and lost one. We are proud of the teamwork and perseverance of the children who took part and we want to thank all the grown ups for coming to support.
We hosted the AAT Student Quiz in school today, welcoming teams of Year 6 pupils from Inkberrow and Norton-juxta-Kempsey Primary schools. The quiz was led by sixth form members of the Trust Student Council and Executive Officer Clive Corbett. Great fun was had by all and, in a close finish, Inkberrow just pipped the other two teams to win the trophy. Orchard Primary School came second with Norton a close third!
Today we celebrated stories and a love of reading on World Book Day. Dressed in their pyjamas, children and staff had an exciting day doing lots of book related activities in school and having fun with books. We hope the children enjoy spending their book token and develop an even greater love of reading!
